Privacy
The short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no advertising, and nothing about you is stored on our servers.
What stays in your browser
Your shortlist and the last place you searched fromare saved in your own browser's local storage, so they're there when you come back. They never leave your device, and you can remove them by clearing your shortlist or your browser's site data. A child's date of birth entered in the filters is only used to work out a year group for that search and is not saved.
What we send to other services
- Postcode or town searches are looked up with postcodes.io to turn them into map coordinates.
- Maps are drawn using tiles from OpenStreetMap, which your browser downloads when you open a map.
- School logosare fetched from Google's public favicon service using each school's website address.
Like any website, these services and our hosting provider see your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts them.
Cookies
We don't set any cookies and don't use analytics or advertising trackers, which is why there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.
